Your next activity is about reading and studying the article indicated up here in the button, click on it.  Please, read it carefully, the times you need to do it in order to understand. After reading the article, you must do these activities:

1. You must record and send to my email a video in which you describe the information of the article. Don´t use the same words and ideas of the text, you must use your own words. It implies that you tell in the video the information that you understood after having studied carefully the article. In your explanation of the article, you must explain each one of the questions indicated there: "So which diets have got it in for me?  , How is this killing people?, How far is the world off a perfect diet?," etc.  This is the final test of the second term, in case you had had bad scores on previous activities in this term and need to remedy it, you need to get a score of 3.5, so please be prepared. You have until July 10th to send this video to my email: josdavid2@gmail.com. No activity will be checked after this due date.

2. You must record and send to my email, a video in which you describe the recipe of a Colombian traditional dish. Describe the history, importance and characteristics of this dish.  You must indicate the ingredients and their nutritional information. (vitamins, minerals, fiber content, etc) You must also indicate the preparation process. You have until July 18th to send this video to my email: josdavid2@gmail.com. No activity will be checked after this due date.

Conditions of the videos:

​

1. You must be seen in the video, talking

2. These are speaking exercises, so you can not read during your monologues. Be prepared before recording the video.

3. Since these are speaking exercises, I will take into account your fluency, pronunciation, vocabulary, tone of your voice, coherence and cohesion of your speech, usage of quantifiers (for countable and uncountable nouns)  and also the knowledge you demonstrate about the topics you are going to talk about, all of these regarding the capacities of a 7th-grade student. 

4. Do not use edition to avoid talking fluently and continuously. 

5. Do not limit your activities to memorize the information. I will check if you are aware of what you are saying. So, please study your material and be prepared before recording your videos. 

6. You have enough time to prepare and send your videos, check the due dates and don´t wait until the last moment to send your activities. Remember I do not take into account activities sent after the due dates. 

7. Attend to the virtual meetings, I will give an extra explanation about the activities and I will solve your doubts and questions too.
